Mine has gone down too and i am telewest area. I have a sneaking suspicion that nagra 3 has been launched but confirmation on this will be great

Have a look at the VM site for area problems,
http://status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/tvissues.do

Both you guys should do a factory reset and rescan, the frequencies may have changed.

I have already done both, these are the 1st things I have checked out. Also on my VM box I have got an error code AP:52 showing up, and I have had clarification from friends in the same area that their service has gone down, these friends do not have SV

error code AP:52 is not an error code it's part of the boot-up it may take a while.
There was problems in the Midlands earlier today.
Nag 3 will not take affect until new card are sent out.
If your VM box is a sub box (one you pay for) and has no signal then it's an area problem.
