SV 6 & 7 Firmware 21/03/11

firmware for starview. now in DOWNLOADS Starview 6&7-ShowMustGoOn2.21ups (Do not use this file on sv hd combo)
no 1 get a usb stick what to save things on surely you will have 1
no 2 save firmware on usb
no 3 factory default box
no 4 put firmware on by accessing the usb by going into box men utility usb select the firmware updater
no 5 before scan make sure box is on u stream menu options network
no 6 when scan is done put on b4u movies type in the remote 1819 should be working.

To activate server, when you watch channel, press active key.

Active key is 1819

Then you can see connect to server or not in information bar

Press disable key(2819) to disable service.

i havent got a starview so cannot test just passing on the info.

Up and running now with some test channels ..

117 : ITV3

109 : sky living

111 : sky living+1

139 : Challenge

140 : Challenge+

159 : Sky living Love

511 : sky sports 1,

620 : Euronews

802 : star news,

803 : star plus,

805 : sony ent tv asia,

806 : max,

815 : b4u movies,

816 : b4u music,

742 : Best Direct

This is untrue,firmware is being worked on for the SV Combo at the moment with the HD channels taking a little longer.

In days of old,wrong firmware would work on boxes for a short time then kill the box,if you have this on your box best remove it.

Have just seen quote from the guy that released the firmware,
"Hi guys we are currently working on the duo should be soon but the hd might take sometime."

looks like the new firmware is a working progress... I have tried it out
it works!! but most of the bollywood channels are not working at the mo!!

I'm from the Birmingham area...

best thing to do is wait for further updates on the new firmware...

hi m8 you just got to be patient channels coming back slowly but surely sorry m8 hope you get sorted real soon

This is good news I must say. I would just like to point out that on the set up instructions this part "no 5 before scan make sure box is on u stream menu options network" There is no option for U Stream at all. There is only 2 options in the Network settings.

But after ignoring that part and doing the rest of the instructions I found that I can get the channels as described above.

please can someone sort the starview hd combo firmware

you were told to wait for the cmbo hd fix,the sv6 and sv7 are more important as more of them were sold.

i cant find the u stream on my network i cant get it to work plzz help it just says ip setup and sw download in network option

you wont see ustream just scan and find channels then go to sly sports 1 ch511 then press 1819 to enable stream

Do not worry about the U Stream I had exactly the same problem, I ignored that part of the instructions. The most important thing is treat it like the way you set it up before. For example when you scan the channels do not just leave it on Auto. I f you live in the UK and use Telewest (Virgin) like myself set it to 6952 and then scan. Before there used to be a Ustream setting in the Networks options on the Box, There is not one at all now. This is most likely down to the fact that the software you are uploading is only a Test Software and not what that eventually will be put out hopefully. The best thing to do is follow the instructions apart from the Network bit. And also set the scan to 6952 if you live in the UK. that is.

anyone know if the disney channel is likely to be coming back ? dont seem to have that working at the moment.

thought you were looking for help with sv7 ?you won`t get it abusing members

those channels were working at that time,but as of now there has been a maintenance notice put up saying they are working on it.

I AM NT ABUSING ANY 1 PLZ JUST HELP ME NON OF MY CHANNELS ARE WORKING ONLY 2 WORK WHY IS THT?

Scan on NTL from a direct feed (no splitter)
