SV6 Question

Post by rtman85 on Mon Jul 19 2010, 11:40

Hi

Could you confirm this box will pick up all premium channels in a Nag3 area in a TW area? ie Sports, Movies etc and that the box must be connected to the net at all times?

Got a dead SV1 & SV4 Box and don't wanna waste another 90

Cheers

Yes ,but Starview will only last a year

Starview combo Starview 6 and Kryptview all offer this service.

server will run for a year if lucky, after that you buy another box lol.

kryptview has not set a limit to of how long it will run 18 months? from first connection on the lan.

sv has had problems with servers and not getting all channels.

how does the works. i mean do you need to connect to the cable like starview 3 or internet or both. and are the channels being broadcast over internet?

Router to box (using an ethernet cable) box to TV.
Firmware as before has to be installed, scan for channels.

Best to look at the Kryptview box.!
